Simple. Transparent. Free.
How Brkrr works
Brkrr is Canada's verified mortgage agent directory. Whether you're a consumer looking for help with your mortgage, or a licensed agent looking to grow your business — here's exactly how it works.
For consumers
Find the right mortgage agent
Getting a mortgage is one of the biggest financial decisions of your life. Brkrr makes it simple to find a verified, licensed professional who's right for you.
Search or get matched
Browse verified agents near you by city and province, or answer a few questions about your mortgage needs and we'll match you with up to 3 agents who specialise in exactly what you need.
Review verified profiles
Every agent on Brkrr is cross-referenced against their provincial mortgage regulator (FSRA in Ontario, BCFSA in BC, etc.). You'll see their licence number, brokerage, specialisations, languages spoken, and real reviews from verified clients.
Connect directly
Click to call, email, or visit a verified agent's website — all in one place. No middleman, no referral fees. You choose who you work with.
Leave a verified review
After working with your agent, leave a verified review to help other Canadians make confident decisions. Reviews on Brkrr are tied to real leads — never anonymous.
What makes Brkrr different
Licence verified, not self-reported
We pull data directly from provincial regulators. Every agent you see has a valid licence number on file.
Reviews tied to real transactions
Reviews on Brkrr come from consumers who submitted a real lead — not anonymous internet strangers.
Find by language and specialty
Need someone who speaks Punjabi or specialises in self-employed mortgages? Filter for exactly that.
No referral fees — ever
Brkrr never takes a cut of your mortgage. We connect you with agents, you take it from there.
Free for consumers — always
Brkrr is completely free to use. Mortgage agents are paid by lenders when your mortgage closes — not by you.

Claim your listing. Start receiving leads.
We've already built a profile for every FSRA-licensed agent in Ontario. Agents from all other provinces can register directly. Claiming your listing is free — and takes less than 5 minutes.
Sign in and find your listing
Sign in with Google or LinkedIn. Ontario agents: enter your FSRA licence number and we'll find your pre-built listing instantly. Agents from BC, Alberta, and other provinces can register directly.
Verify your identity and brokerage
We verify your identity and confirm your brokerage email address. Your email must be from your brokerage domain — not a personal Gmail or Yahoo address. This protects consumers and gives your profile the verified badge.
Complete your profile
Add a photo, write a bio, list your languages, specialisations, and lenders. The more complete your profile, the higher you rank in search results. Profile completeness is one of the key factors in your search score.
Receive matched leads and grow
Once verified, you'll receive matched consumer leads directly to your dashboard and inbox. Respond quickly — response rate affects your search ranking. Build reviews over time to climb the directory.

For consumers
Is Brkrr free for consumers?
Yes — completely free, always. Mortgage agents are paid by lenders when your mortgage closes. You never pay Brkrr or the agent directly.
How are agents matched to my request?
Our matching algorithm considers your province, city, mortgage type, credit band, language preferences, and special needs. We then rank available verified agents by their search score and match you with up to 3.
Are the agents on Brkrr actually licensed?
Yes. Ontario agents are cross-referenced against the FSRA mortgage agent registry. Agents from other provinces are verified against their respective provincial regulator before receiving the verified badge.
What if I don't hear back from a matched agent?
Agents are expected to respond within 7 days. If they don't, the lead expires and we'll re-match you with another agent. Slow response times hurt an agent's search ranking.
Can I browse agents without submitting a lead?
Absolutely. Browse the full directory at brkrr.ca/agents, filter by province, city, and language, and contact any verified agent directly from their profile.
For agents
I'm not in Ontario — can I still claim a listing?
Yes. Agents from BC, Alberta, and all other provinces can register directly. You'll enter your licence number and province, and our team will manually verify it against your provincial regulator before your listing goes live.
Why do I need to use my brokerage email?
To protect consumers. A professional brokerage email confirms you actually work for the brokerage listed on your profile. We block generic email providers like Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail.
What happens after my 30-day trial ends?
Your listing stays live and you continue receiving up to 3 matched leads per month — completely free. The trial gives you access to Pro features like full analytics history and priority ranking. After 30 days you can upgrade to Pro or stay on the free plan.
Does paying for Pro guarantee more leads?
No — and we're transparent about that. Pro gives you a small ranking boost as a tiebreaker between equally-scored agents. The biggest factors in your ranking are profile completeness, reviews, and response rate. Quality beats payment.
Can I claim a listing if my licence is expired?
You can claim the listing, but your profile will be marked as expired and hidden from consumer search results until your licence is renewed and updated.
